Doda Aug 29:-Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Sub-Office Doda organized a multi lingual Mushaira at Bhaderwah. Poets of Kashmiri, Urdu and Hindi recited their latest poetic compositions. Sub Divisional Magistrate Bhaderwah was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Bashir Bhaderwahi, Rind Bhaderwahi and Mast Nath Yogi shared the presidium. In his welcome address Rashid Jahangir Cultural Officer Bhaderwah stated that with the efforts of Chief Minister, who is also the President of the Academy, the culture of the three hilly Districts of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban has come into the spot light. The opening of Bhaderwah sub-office of the Academy is aimed to boost and promote the rich and colorful Bhaderwahi culture. Dr. Rafiq Masoodi Secretary Cultural Academy has issued express instructions to make sub-office Bhaderwah a focal point of cultural tourism, he added. The poets who participated in the Mushaira included Nashad Bhaderwahi, Shaz Sharqi, Naz Nizami, Aas Bhaderwahi, Abdul Jabber Zair, Bebas Bhaderwahi, Naaz Sungli, Chandarkant Amerdeep, Sajid Sarmadi, Bashir Mubarak, M. S. Dilkash, G.H. Naqash, M.Y. Sayyad, Firdous Tahir, Khaksaar Bhaderwahi.
