| Death in hospital: Relatives on rampage | | |
Srinagar, Aug 31: Twenty six year old Shakeela wife of Shakeel Ahmad today died during the surgery in a mysterious circumstances in Rainawari, hospital here today.
Immediately after hearing the news of the death of Shugufta, the relatives of the deceased went on the rampage and started damaging the infrastructure of the hospital.
The doctor who attended the patient was accused of mishandling the surgery and immediately fled from the scene.
The accused doctor has been allegedly found in unscroplous activities in the past also. The attendents and the relatives have asked the hospital authorities about the 'dubious' competence of the doctor. It is pertinent to mention that Rainawari hospital has been in news several times before and it is alleged that there is a nexus between drug suppliers and doctors and the senior doctors in the hospital direct their subordinates to prescribe the medicines from particular companies.
