| AIRGB to carry forward policies of the collation government: Mahajan | | | JAMMU JULY-1- All India Rajiv Gandhi Brigade(AIRGB) in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its State President Rohit Mahajan discussed the policies and programs of the coalition government in the state and called upon its workers to support the government at every front. Addressing the meeting Mahajan impressed upon the workers to strengthen the hands of the Chief Minister Ghulama Nabi Azad for carrying forward his mission of taking the state to the new heights of progress and development. Appreciating the tourism package for Jammu, Mahajan hoped that Jammu which lagged far behind in tourism, would get new impetus and become a famous and attractive destination for the tourists within and outside the country. Maintaining he has since dissolved all committees at district, block and mohalla in Jammu and Kashmir, Mahajan asserted that all senior members of the erstwhile committees would be given due respect adding that he would welcome all the members who come forward to join the brigade. He said new committees have already been formed at the district and block level. He said ever since he took over as President of the State Unit on April 27 last, several people irrespective of caste, creed, age and religion have joined the Brigade. Joining of several doctors, lawyers, retired senior officers in the party fold has strengthened the brigade, he added. Giving a call to the erstwhile members of the Brigade to join it, the President said that the main objective of the Brigade is to serve the society and carry forward the mission of the Brigade so that it becomes a source of inspiration for other organizations working in the state. Dr Sanjeev Gupta, State Secretary and Incharge Jammu-Kathua district, Raju Gupta State Secretary, Tashwant Manhas senior vice president, Mulk Raj Gaghu District President Urban Jammu, Om Parkash ,Gurjeet Singh, Ajay Balgotra, District Joint Secretaries, Shamsher Chand, Saloni Nikhil District Secretaries, Raju Salim, William, Tilak Raju Atri, Janak Raj, Haj Mohd Din, Shjjad Ali, Diwakar Sharma and Hardeep Singh were also present at the meeting.
