| Jawan injured in accidental fire | | |
Srinagar, August 31: A cop of Central Reserve Police 139 battalion was seriously injured when his service rifle went off accidentally at the company head quarter at Syed Rehmania Market in Srinagar, today.
Sources told that during intervening night of 29-30, the service rifle (SLR) of cop went off accidentally and injured him seriously.
He has been identified as Narinder Kumar Pandy of 139 CRPF battalion presently posted at company headquarters of Syed Rehmania Market falling under the jurisdiction of police station Nishat, Drinagar.
He was immediately rushed to SKIMS Srinagar for necessary treatment.
