An amount of Rs. 5 crore per district stands released by the Planning and Development Department for each newly created district for creation of infrastructure. A Committee of officers has been constituted under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary to examine the cases of each new administrative unit for creation of infrastructure. The Committee is examining acquisition of land, location of new administrative units and the design of the new construction. Cases are expected to be sorted-out shortly so that the process of creation of infrastructure at new administrative units takes place.
