Bhadrwarh observes complete bandh on second consecutive day
Immediate release of three arrested youth sought

DODA, SEPT 01-Bhaderwah town observed complete bandh on the second consecutive day today on the class of Anjuman Islami Bhaderwah in protest against the arrest of three youth in connection with the recent bomb blast at a local temple here .
In the morning the protestors assembled at the Jamia Masjid and took out the procession in the streets of the town and forced closure of business establishments and educational institutions. The protestors brunt the tiers on the roads and blocked the main road near the Jamia Masjid for the whole day and also pelted stones on the government buildings and passing vehicles. The administration had made adequate security arrangements to avoid any untoward incident.
It may be recalled that the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad who on a tour of the town today to assess the pace of progress on various on going development works in the area had a tough time and the protestors raised anti-Azad,, anti-government and anti security forces slogans The protestors also clashed with the Police
President Anjuman Islamia Abdul Khateeb alleged that police cane charged the protestors and used force to disperse the peace demonstrators as a result of which some civilians are reported to have suffered injuries and announced that the protest would continue till all the three innocent youth are released.
In the meantime Chief Minister invited the representatives of the Anjuman Islamia Bhaderwah at Dak Banglow and assured that he will personally look into the matter and arrested youths will be released
SSP Doda informed the media persons in the evening that three youth were not arrested on the charges of grenade attack on the temple but on the charges of providing financial help and for working with terrorists.
