In connection with a month long Gandhi Jayanti celebrations, an intra college elocution competition was organized in the Old Hall of the College today on the topic “Relevance of the Gandhian Philosophy of non-violence and truth in the modern world”. More than thirty students from Morning and Evening College participated with full enthusiasm and vibrant audience. Thirteen students were selected for the next round of competition.
The function was presided by Prof. Vijay Kotwal, Principal of the College. In his speech he declared that college will celebrate Gandhi Jayanti with full fervor and will conduct many programs, Poster making, Quiz competition, Card making, Elocution Seminars etc. to highlight the relevance of Gandhian way of life.
Prof. Javed Khatib was the convener of the function and Prof. Ranjana Kaul compeered the program.
