| Sanju admires Jammuites | | | Katra, Sept 1: Bollywood heartthrob Sanjay Dutt, now known more by his Munna Bhai identity today offered an ovation to the people of Jammu for their peaceful and loving nature as the actor arrived here to pay obeisance at the holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in Trikuta Hills. Dutt, who could not reach here yesterday due to bad weather today reached Katra to pay obeisance at the shrine but he could not reach at the holy cave as chopper service remained suspended against due to the bad weather. "Munna Bhai would not offer puja at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine on Monday," said Jammu SP, Katra Ashok Sharma. The Jammu and Kashmir police had made special security arrangement for the Bollywood star. Though he never claimed his marriage to Manyata, the lady was seen accompanying him to the pilgrimages and visits to the shrines. After his release from the jail, Sanjay Dutt today had first elaborate interaction with the media. Several media persons from Jammu had rushed to Katra to speak to the popular actor who spoke at length. During his interaction with the media persons, Sanjay Dutt praised the people of Jammu for what he said their peaceful and loving nature. Dutt said, I am visiting Mata Vaishno devi shrine to seek blessings and is hopeful that he will not return empty handed. "Maa ke darbar se koi bhi khali haath nahin jata, mein bhi nahin jaaonga, Munna bhai said chanting jai mata di. Large number of fans stood outside the hotel making a beeline to have a glimpse of the star who reached there along with his girl friend and family members. The local police and shrine board authorities were facing tough time to regulate pilgrim rush in the katra base camp as people were flocking posh hotel to catch a glimpse of the star. Sanjay himself requested media persons not to follow him and allow him to perform darshan like any other devotee .He said he will also pray for his friend Salman Khan facing trial in the Chinkara poaching case.
