Usman Bhaderwah, Combine Ghat register win in 12th Gufran C'ship

Doda, May 08: Usman Bhaderwah and Combine Ghat registered their wins by beating Chiralla Cricket Club and Young Star Bhallara respectively in the ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2016 at Sports Stadium Doda.
The tournament is organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Doda.
Earlier in the first match, Chiralla Cricket Club after winning the toss set a target of 119 runs for the loss of 08 wickets in 18 overs. Ranjeet and Amit scored 20 and 17 runs respectively. From Usman Bhaderwah, Junaid and Khurshid took 4 and 2 wickets respectively.
In reply, Usman Bhaderwah team managed to chase down the target in 12.2 overs for the loss of 02 wickets. Sajid was the highest scorer who scored 27 runs while Ashfaq contributed 23 runs for the team. From Chiralla Cricket Club, Anoop and Rohit shared 01 wicket each. Later on Junaid of Usman Bhaderwah was declared as Man of the Match for his best bowling performance.
In the second match, toss was won by Young Star Bharalla and while batting they set an traget of 114 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 17.4 overs. Umesh was the highest scorer who scored 23 runs while Rajesh contributed 19 runs for the team. From Combine Ghat, Imran Tantray clinched 05 wickets while Kashif and Majid Wani shared 02 wickets each.
In reply, batsman of Combine Ghat managed to achieve the stipulated target in 10.5 overs by loosing their 04 wickets. Majid was the highest scorer who scored 45 runs while Suhain contributed 24 runs for his team. From Young Star Bharalla, Swinke and Sumit took 03 and 01 wickets. Later on Imran Tantray was declared as Man of the Match for his best bowling performance.
The match was officiated by Aayush Sharma, Noushair Batt, Bharat Jajuriya and Munish Zutshi as Umpires whereas Rinku Bhaduria act as Scorer.
