| Fake pension case detected | | |

Crime Branch detected a fake pension case and registered case in this regard.
According to reports, crime branch received a complaint from Deputy Accountant General (A&E) alleging therein that a pension case on behalf of one Abdul Samad Wani son of Gulam Qadir Wani resident of Manzgam Brain, Nishat, Srinagar was received from the office of Ex-engineer (R&B) construction division 2nd Srinagar. Sources said during processing of the said case some deficiencies were noticed and while clarifying the observations the said pension case was found to be fake and forged.
Further the concerned Ex-engineer denied the existence of above said person in his office. Sources said on this a preliminary inquiry was got conducted into the matter which established prima facie case of cheating and forgery against the accused for cracking the conspiracy behind the act and crime branch is going to register a case in this regard.
