| Conspiracy to loot green wealth detected | | |

Crime branch detected the conspiracy to loot the green wealth in the State Forest Corporation by preparing a fake CDR.
According to reports crime branch received a communication from Vigilance Organization wherein it was alleged that two persons namely Mohd Ayoub Sheikh son of Abdul Majid resident of Nagar Bhaderwah and Imtiyaz Ahmed Sheikh son of Mir Hussain resident of Pranu Bhaderwah in connivance with officers of State Forest Corporation including Gulam Qadir Wani, Secretary J&K SFC, Sheikh Mushtaq regional manager SFC Extension circle, Doda and Mohd Aslam Khateeb, Divisional manager Doda prepared fake CDR’s which were entertained by above mentioned SFC officers and recommended these unregistered contractors for extraction and transportation.
Sources said in this way SFC officers conspired with the beneficiaries and by fraudulent and illegal way tried to cause huge loss to the state exchequer. Sources said after perusal at crime branch a clear case of cheating and forgery has been found to be made out prima facie against the accused and a formal case is being registered for in-depth investigation into the matter and to ascertain the role of public servents involved in the act.
