| Newly elected members of CCB felicitated | | |
Jammu September-2- To felicitate the newly elected members of the Citizens’ Cooperative Bank, a function was held at Digiana Ashram Jammu under the chairmanship of His Holiness Mahant Manjit Singh of Shromini Dera Nagali Sahaib Poonch.
Dinesh Gupta, Narinder Singh, Balbir Singh of the management Committee and other Directors were presented and honoured by the Siropas. A large number of Sikh Sangat was present on the occasion.
Addressing the Sikh Sangat, Sudershan Singh ex-President SGPB, Gurdev Singh and Dayal Singh Wazir acting President and General Secretary of SAD and Makhan Singh and Amrik Singh members of DGPC Jammu that the new management of the Bank would work for the welfare of poor and downtrodden and ensure grant of hassle free loans to the needy. They stressed upon the management to simplify the rules governing loans and grant loans to the transport industry on old and new vehicles on low interest rates. They also sought some quota in employment in the bank for the Sikh youth.
On this occasion, the Mahant presented Sirpos to the members of the new management committee of the Bank and hoped that the bank will work according to the wishes and aspirations of the voters and the weaker sections of the society, a hand out issued by Digana Ashram said.
Among others present on the occasion were Mohinder Singh Chief Organizer Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Seva Society, Ramnik Singh Bijral, Parmjit Singh President AISSF, Kultar Singh, Dharminder Singh Bhargav, Harjit Singh Kartar, Gurchran Singh Tohra, Manmohan Singh Chairman Gole Gujral, Devinder Singh, Kanchan Singh Chatha, Kulwant Singh, Secretary Infradi Union of Truck Operators, Rajinder Singh and Gurdev Singh Gadigarh.
