| Factory manager blind murder traced: SDPO Samba | | Police had to lay traps in many states | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sept 3 Samba Sub-Division police in another landmark achievement has unfolded the mystery of blind murder of a factory manager of MS Asian Industries Kainthpur in the jurisdiction of police station Vijaypur. The investigation of the case was conducted by a police team headed by Sub-Divisional Police officer Samba Abrar Chowdhary. While briefing media at Sub-Divisional Police Office Samba SDPO Abrar Chowdhary said that this cold blooded murder was a very unique keeping in view the modus operandi of the accused. and the way he remained absconding in various states dodging police by frequently changing his locations and mobile phones. On the intervening night of 23rd and 24th july foreman of the MS Asian Industries Manoj Malik S/O Jhander Malik of Orrisa planned to kill his manager Dina Nath S/O Fagir Chand of district Mandi Himachal Pardesh due to the continuous enmity between the two on illegal profit out of selling the factory raw materials, said the SDPO. During sustained interrogation it was ascertained that the accused used the electric cable of welding set to kill the deceased. He kept on watching the manager and when he slept the accused connected the cable with the main electric coil and gently placed both the wires on the neck of the sleeping manager, who due to electrocution died on the spot. After executing the cold blooded murder the accused shifted the dead body in his personal room in the factory premises and covered it with sand, locked the room from outside and fled outside the state. Surprisingly, neither the owner of the factory nor any one else had any clue about the address or whereabouts of the accused except his name said the SDPO. Police laid extensive traps in Orrisa, Punjab and Bihar while surfing the mobile telephone exchanges of airtel and BSNL in all these states. Finally police party headed by SDPO Abrar Chowdhary and SHO Vijaypur Khalil-Ur-Rehman succeeded in apprehending the accused from Ludiana where he was staying with one of his relatives. A police party led by SHO Samba Ashok Singh has also recovered the weapon of offence on the disclosure of the accused, said SDPO Chowdhary.
