| Sikh BJP leaders flay Cong for policies | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu |Sep 3 A general meeting of Sikh Party workers of BJP was convened under the Chairmanship of Senior party leader of Varinderjit Singh at Gandhi Nagar, Jammu through which a resolution was adopted and sent to central govt. to contradict the vote policy of Congress on the grounds of Sachar Commission only Muslims are treated as minority community to avail all sort of facilities. And this means, the congress party is damaging the bilateral relations of Indian society for mere gain in their vote politics. It is a bitter truth that on the entire Indian soil, the Sikhs stand on minority line, but due to dirty politics, other communities are benefited on some pretexts which is not tolerable in the light of Indian constitution. Discriminating Policies of State govt. were also highlighted in the masses whereas the Punjabi language is not introduced in schools, Amendment of J&K Gurdwara Act 1971 is not initiated as per the need of hour, non regularization of Sikh dwellings / camps, non absorbance of Sikh Youths in Govt. jobs with due reservation and many more vital issues were raised by the speakers which are never implemented in spirits which assured by successive State Govts. in the past. In the gathering of 60 NJP part staunch Sikh Workers, S. Varinderjit Singh, assured to take up the genuine of Sikh Community to the Centre Govt. as well to the party high command for redressal. Prominent among speakers were S. Darshan Singh, S. Harbinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh, S. Gurjeet Singh (Prince), S. Harjeet Singh, Ranjit Singh, Gurcharan Singh Sudan, S. Bikramjeet Singh, Gian Singh, S. Paramjeet Singh, S. Kutar Singh, S. Tarlok Singh Raina, S. Sham Singh and S. Manmeet Singh.
