| CM greets people on Janamashtami | | | Srinagar, September 03 – Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has felicitated the people on Janamashtami and hoped that the auspicious occasion would herald Jammu & Kashmir into an era of peace and progress.
In a message of greetings, the Chief Minister said that the people of the country have a unique tradition of celebrating festivals and religious occasions of various communities together. He said Janamashtami is one such occasion when members of other communities greet their Hindu brethren and join them in festivities. He said religious festivals strengthen bonds of brotherhood and amity among various sections of the society.
The Chief Minister hoped that Janamashtami this year would herald peace and prosperity in Jammu & Kashmir.
