JAMMU | AUG 13

Chairman Jammu Youth Welfare Association (YWA) Ashok Mahajan has urged the Jammu Municipal Corporation to construct a boundary wall around Jangam Ashram Prem Nagar here as also provide drinking water facilities at the temple at Nahalki near Safore.
In a communication addressed to the Commissioner JMC, Mahajan has demanded immediate construction of the boundary wall and installation of floodlights for the convenience of the inmates especially the Sadhus and the devotees who throng the temple in large numbers daily.
A deputation of Mahants who called on Mahajan here today apprised him about the problems being faced by them in the absence of a hand pump at the temples at Nihalki, near bus stand Sarore .The deputation alleged that they had taken this demand with the Public Health Engineering Minister and other officers of the Department in the past but till date no action has been taken on their demand as a result of which the Mahants putting up in these temples are put to great hardships.
