Prof. M.R. Puri, former vice-chancellor of university Forum was awarded Rajiv Gndhi Shiromani award 2007 for his outstanding contribution in the filed of education and social work.
The award was presented him at India International Centre, hodhi estate, New Delhi on August 24 by the union minister of state for planning, M.V. Rajashekharan at a function organized by national integration and economic council. At present Prof. Puri is chairman of S.D. Tara Puri, Public High School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
