| DGP inspects Safa Kadal Police Station | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar, September 04 - Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda visited Police Station Safa Kadal here last evening and issued on-the-spot instructions for re-constructing the damaged portion of Police Station building. Khoda directed the concerned engineers to start work on the construction of the damaged portion of building forthwith so that sufficient accommodation is available for efficient running of the Police Station. Addressing Police personnel on the occasion, Khoda said the people of the state faced many hardships during the turmoil of 18 years and asked all ranks of the force to serve the masses with zeal and missionary spirit. Khoda also witnessed the presentation on the jurisdiction and functioning of the Police Station besides the number of First Information Reports (FIRs) and cases worked out. He also inspected the records of the Police Station and expressed satisfaction on its proper maintenance, while writing his remarks on the inspection register of Police Station. The Director General of Police was accompanied by Inspectors General of Police J.A. Makhdoomi, S.M. Sahai, DIGs Abdul Subhan Lone, Farooq Ahmad, SSP Srinagar Afdul Mujataba and other officers
