| Two bovine smugglers arrested | | | Early Times Reporter Kathua | Sep 5 Rajbagh police today arrested two bovine smugglers and recovered 16 bovines from their possession when they were on way to Punjab. According to reports, police received specific information that a truck loaded with bovines ‘illegally’ was on way to Punjab. After receiving the information, a police team led by SHO Karanjeet Singh swung into action and laid a naka in the area and during checking police stooped a truck no HR47/4487 and recovered 16 bovines and arrested two persons namely Shafi son of Roshan Din resident of Swankha, Samba and Amar Singh son of Munshi Ram resident of Patiala and took them to police station for further interrogation. Reports said during interrogation they told police that they were on way to Punjab and loaded the bovines from Samba. Police has also registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter.
