LAHDC chairman tours villages

To take stock of development works going on different villages and redress the problem of the people, the chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai conducted two days extensive tour of Shargole block.
The executive councilor of works Nasir Hussain Munshi, E.C for Rural development Haji Mohd. Ishaq, EC for agriculture/horticulture Kacho Gulzar Hussain Khan, Councilor Ghulam Abbas and Haji Mohd Baqir, Additional deputy commissioner, Kargil, SE, PWD, Kargil, Executive Engineers and officers of various department accompanied the CEC, LAHDC, Kargil during his tour.
The CEC, Haji Karbalaie met the people and heard their problems and demand patiently. The villages put forth a charter of demand at every village which include improvement and construction of link road, repair of school building, irrigation khuls, supply of timbers, providing of telephone mobile facilities at Kuktsy and Ltsum, filling up the post of ANM at various medical aid centres, posting of doctor at Pashkum, up-gradation of middle school to high school, high school to higher secondary school, posting of teachers in various schools, installation of hand pumps, repair/replacement of hand pump etc.
Responding to the demand, Haji Karbalaie assured that every possible measures would be taken in mitigating the demand of peoblem. He has sanctioned on the spot, Rs.40.95 lacs to allot for execution of necessitated nature of works like Wakha canal/house compensation, improvement of nunamchay road, extension of link road Karamba, extension of irrigation Khul, Skambo, Transformer and erection of electric poles at Kuksty/Archery/polo ground and widening of link road at Pashkum, repair renovation of Middle School and improvement of link road at Trarumsa-Pashkum.
During the visit, the Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil executive councilor and team of district/block officers were given a rousing welcome by the people of various villages
