A deputation of Ward No. 17 residents called on Assistant Director (A.D) of consumer affairs & Public distribution (CA &PD) led by Suresh Rani here today and apprised him about the problems being faced due to shortage of Kerosene-oil in the area.
Suresh said since last May residents of the ward are facing difficulties as dealers are not opening their shops. He requested the A.D. that the K-oil depot holders he directed to re-open their shops, soon and supply K-oil to the people.
Among other who were part of the deputation, were Madan Singh, Khazan Singh, M.S. Namani, Mohammad Shrief and Nain Singh. Asst. Director on the occasion assured the deputation that the demand will be re-dressed soon.
