ABVP condemns ‘CM’s politics on Teachers Day’

Jammu | Sep 5
ABVP has condemned Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad alleging that he has indulged into politics on teachers’ day today by pressurizing all teachers of the state to attend his rally at Jammu and Srinagar respectively. He lamented that it is for the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir that teachers day is not celebrated in the campus but in a political function organized by the CM.
According to a press release, ABVP State Secretary Puran Chand said teacher’s day is a day to be celebrated by teachers and students in institutions and not by CM and the teachers. He further condemned the decision and daunted a high level political drama as the children day was also celebrated in the same manner by the CM. This day is meant for students’ strengthening the students and teachers relationship. But due to the political motives of the CM, this function got a set back in maintaining the pious relationship of students and teachers.
