| Court directs Govt. to consider Dr. Chalotra as DMS | | | JAMMU|Sep-05:- Justice Nirmal Singh of J&K High Court Jammu Wing in a writ petition filed by Dr. Manoj Kumar Chalotra directed Commissioner/Secretary Health and Medical Education to consider the petitioner for appointment against the post of Deputy Medical Superintendent lying vacant. Justice Nirmal Singh, after hearing Adv Manohar Singh appearing for the petitioner, Deputy AG appearing for the respondent No 1 State, Sr. Adv DC Raina with Adv FA Natnoo appearing for the PSC, Adv Sindhu Sharma appearing for three private respondents and Adv KN Bhat appearing for the respondent No 9, observed that notice was issued to respondent No 8 through registered post, the same has not been received back served or otherwise. Despite the fact that the statutory period has expired and the respondent is set- ex-parte. Objections on behalf of two private respondents have been filed while remaining respondents have not done that so. The Court gave three weeks more time for filing the objections and in the meanwhile directed that Commissioner/Secretary Health and Medical Education may consider the petitioner for appointment against the post of Deputy Medical Superintendent lying vacant, if the petitioner is eligible on the analogy of private respondents Yash Paul Sharma Deputy Superintendent of SMGS Hospital Jammu, Dr. Nazir Hussain Choudhary Deputy Supt Chest Hospital Srinagar and present Dy Supt LD Hospital Srinagar Mustqa Ahmed Rather.
