HC grants six weeks time for submitting compliance report

JAMMU| Sep -05- Justice Nirmal Singh of J&K High Court Jammu Wing in a contempt petition filed by J&K High Court Staff Welfare Association VS A H Kochak (Commissioner/Secretary Law) and Ors has granted six weeks time for submitting compliance report. Adv PN Raina appearing for the respondents submitted that the fresh proposal with regard to creation of more posts in the High Court has already been approved by the Law Department and the matter is now pending with the Finance Department for concurrence. The proposal will be considered and approved by the Finance Department, thereafter the same would be placed before the Cabinet for final approval, the counsel for the respondent submitted and sought six weeks time to report compliance which was granted by the High Court.
