| BJP start nationwide signature campaign against reservation policy | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 5 Anusuchait Jaati Morcha, a sister concern of Bhartiya Janta Party, has announced to launch a nation wide signature campaign against the reservation to the Scheduled Caste Muslims and Christians in the country. Addressing media persons here today, State President, Anusuchit Jaati Morcha, Narsingh Dass, said that some political parties were befooling the Muslims and Christians of providing them reservations. By making such hollow promises, these parties are harming the interests of Schedule Caste community at the national level, Dass added.. He further said that those people, who have now converted from Islam and Christianity to schedule castes, are not entitled to get the benefits of the reservation meant for the Scheduled Caste communities. In the conference, Advocate, Adarsh Kumar, also criticized the Congress led UPA government, for this ill advised move and said that Congress intends to appease the minority communities in the country only to increase its vote bank. He said Bhartiya Janta Party is starting a nationwide signature campaign. The signatures so collected would be submitted to President of India.
