ABVP demands resignation of Controller Examination

ABVP has demanded enquiry into the alleged irregularities in the BA/BSC part- I results and sought resignation of the Controller of examination of Jammu University.
Addressing media persons Ajay Sharma said that the glaring mistakes in the result gazette shows the inefficiency of the officers in compiling the results thereby causing undue inconvenience to the students. He alleged that the pass percentage of Part-I of B.A, B.Sc and B.Com has shown declining trend during the past 5-6 years. This year the result was about 14% as a whole and demanded an inquiry on the wrongs committed in the result gazeettee apart from ascertaining the reasons for decline in pass percentage..
He said that it is an act of irresponsible management by controller of examination Prof. Deshbandu and ABVP demanded his resignation.
He further added that ABVP will not allow Jammu University to become as platform for anti national activities adding that ABVP will not allow Prof. Rekha Choudhary to use platform of Jammu University for anti-Jammu policies. ‘We demands strict action from security agencies in this regard’, he added..
He also added that party also condemned Jammu University for provoking the gundaism in Jammu University and alleged that the campus was providing admission to some of the known gundas which, he said, will not be tolerated. He said before granting admission, the antecedents of the students need to be verified through secret agencies. He maintained that his party would now commercialization of education in the state.
