Batote police today arrested a driver and recovered Bhuki from his possession during checking at a Naka at Batote on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
According to reports Batote police party led by SHO Sat Pal Modi during routine checking on naka stopped a truck No JK08A/5490 loaded with cement and during checking police recovered one kg of bhuki from the truck itself and took the driver into custody. The accused has been identified as Jagjeet Singh son of Ajeet Singh resident of Amritsar. The interrogation of the accused has been started and some vital disclosures about the racket are expected.
