| Advocate, among two, die due to snake bite | | | Early Times Reporter

Senior advocate and Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) leader Nek Ram died due to snake bite when he was doing some work in his field at Hiranagar.
According to reports advocate Nek Ram last evening left his house and went to the fields for some work and fell unconscious due to snake bite.
Noticing him unconscious the locals of the area shifted him to hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
Reports said that a large number of people including some Judges and the advocates from Kathua today joined his funeral procession. The work in the court at Kathua remained suspended as a mark of respect to the departed advocate.
Meanwhile in another incident one minor child also died due to snake bite in Hiranagar. According to reports Surinder Kumar son of Dev Raj resident of Jagat Pur while playing outside his house fell unconscious due to the snake bite. The family members took him to Kathua hospital where doctors after normal treatment referred him to GMC. The child died on way while being shifted to GMC Hospital here.
