| Freedom fighter of AHF passes away | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

A veteran freedom fighter of Azad Hind Fouj (AHF) died at his residence in village Satraiyan near here today. The 95 year freedom fighter was a close associate of Subash Chander Bose. The deceased Inder Singh was the active member of Azad Hind Fouj and fought against the British rule. He was awarded ‘Tamar Patar’ in the year of 1987 by Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi.
He was cremated today amidst gun shots and salute by the Army jawans. A large number of his admirers and followers joined his funeral procession today.
