Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) unit of Jammu today organized a massive rally in protest against the discriminatory attitude towards the student community on the Teachers Day and alleged that the Chief Minister politicalzed the event by now allowing the students and the teachers to celebrate the Day. The protest rally was led by the National executive member ABVP Suresh Magotra.
Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Magotra said that Azad on the occasion of Teachers Day politicized the event by not allowing the students and teachers to celebrate the day at their respective schools and instead forced them to join the political function. He said last year on the occasion of Children’s Day, with the use of political power and machinery the CM assembled students without thinking their suitability. He said that Azad must apologize to student community of the state.
The protestors also burnt the effigy of Azad and demanded apology from him for wasting their time for pity politics.
Among others who took part in the protest rally include Yasir Farooq Khan , Kishore Atri, Bunty Chaudhary, Anil,Amit , Aditya , Happy , Ravinder and Sanjeev.
