| BYJM to start membership drive from Sept 13 | | ReT scheme a fraud alleges Asim | | Early Times Reporter Jammu September 7 In order to strengthen broad base its network nationally, Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BYJM), today announced to launch new membership drive in Jammu and Kashmir from September 13. Addressing media persons here today the National President of the party Asim Goel said that the party envisages enrolling 50,000 new activists during the campaign to be launched from September 13. Goyal criticized the Congress led UPA government at the centre for its anti-poor policies and alleged that the government is being run by four Prime Ministers, Man Mohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi, CPM-Left and Lalu and party. Goyal further added that the due to the wrong policies of the government, the educated unemployed youth are suffering badly in whole of the country especially in Jammu and Kashmir. The number of unemployed youth in the country has gone up to 55 crore, he added and said that both the Centre and the state government has no policy to tackle this problem, which is continuously rising at an alarming rate. Goyal impressed upon the Centre government to constitute the Youth Commission, which was started by the NDA government but was shelved by the UPA government and called for ‘Shiksha Saman Rojgar’ for all the educated youth of the country. Describing the ReT scheme started by the state government as a fraud, Goyal alleged that the state government was discriminating with the educated youth of the state by hiring them and in return providing them a nominal monthly remuneration per month. Where as the government has announced to give every surrendered militant a huge sum of three lakh rupees and a government job and educated youth when demand jobs they are brutally beaten at the hands of the police. With a view to end this discrimination with the youth of the state, the BJYM has decided to hold massive membership drive targeting to enroll 50,000 activists to BJYM, National President of the party said..
