| Symposium on ‘Solid waste management’ organized | | | Early Times Reporter

Department of Zology of Govt. Degree College organized a symposium on the theme “Solid waste management” in collorabration with W.W.F India. The function was presided over by Prof. M.R Khan, principal.
Prof. Mangat Ram Sharma the department highlighted the importance of awareness about pollution problem and asked the students to amplify the awareness further to make it practical Prof. H.D. Singh, (H.O.D. Botany) Dr. Abdul Qayoom and Prof Savita Jamwal acted as judges. Geeta Sharma, Sana Lone and Bandana secured 1st , 2nd and 3rd position in the symposium and were awarded prizes. the consolation prizes were shared by Arif Lone and Tania Sadiq. The staff members and principal of the college appreciated the hard efforts of department of Zoology in general and faculty members in particular for making the programme success. HOD, Zoology Prof. Saleem Ayzaz Rather presented vote of thanks.
