Over Rs.4.30 lacs are being spent in Kharoo block during current financial year for repair and renovation of different school buildings.
This was informed Tscring Norboo Lampa, Executive Councilor, Education, LAHDC, Leh while inspecting the Govt. Higher Secondary School, Sakti. He was told that an amount of Rs.30 thousand are being spent at higher secondary school, Sakti for its repayment while as Rs. 80thousand each for repairmen of school buildings at Igoo and Piyoo.
During the inspection Councilor Sakti constituency Gayal Wangail, DEPO. Tsewang Dorje and BDO, Kharoo Dijoo and accompanied.
He said education scenario in Leh district is running on its right track, and urged upon the people to extend cooperation with the school authorities for a better academic result.
