The worker of J&K Kissan federation along with the activists of all India Kisan Sabha, all india Rashtrya Kisan Sangathan staged protest demonstration in front of divisional commissioner office here today. They were protesting against the state govt. not taking any action against the police official who made barbaric and murderous attack on chairman J&K Kisan federation. Hari Chnad Jalmeria last month Katra and broke his leg besides keeping him in 4 hours long illegal custody at Katra police station without informing his family and any medical aid. Protested barbarous murderous attack on women activist Anita Thakur. The Kisan leader charged the govt. for shielding the culprit police officials in such heinous and inhuman crime.
Later, a delegation of federation led by the Dr. Ghai Sham Singh Charak met the divisional commissioner submitted a memorandum demanding immediate action against the police officials and high level judicial inquiry. He others members of delegations Kahan Singh, Shivdev Singh, Tek Chand, Bhagat Ram, Krishan Chand, and Sadhu Ram.
