| Deputation calls on Hakeem | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER
Srinagar, August 14 :
A deputation headed by MLA Langate, Mr. S.D. Sharik today called on the Minister for Consumers Affairs and Public Distribution, Hakim Mohammad Yaseen and demanded to make available sufficient quantity of rice, K. Oil, sugar and Atta in Langate, Ramhal, Rajwar, Lolab and other parts of Kupwara district.
The Minister gave patient hearing to the deputationists and assured that all these areas would get uninterrupted supply of various food grains.
Mr. Yaseen said that a team headed by Deputy Director has already visited the area to assess the requirements of the people which are being fulfilled on priority. He said the team has seized one truck of PDS rice without proper permission near Pattan, the other day and the Police has registered a case after the seizure of the truck.
