Law student was 'lovelorn'

Following arrest of the Law College student and recovery of arms from her, the Police today rounded up some more suspects to gather clue on this militancy ring.
Sources said, during interrogation of HM top commander Altaf Ahmed son of Gulam Ahmed Khan resident of Gounthal, Surankote and law student Nahida Altaf daughter of Altaf Hussain resident of Iqbal Nagar, Surankote in safe house, the Police have got more information of the HM network.
The Police is believed to have launched a silent operation to nab the other persons involved. Sources said today police also conducted raids in Udhampur and some other places and picked some suspects and were questioning them in safe house. Sources said during interrogation police found that the law student had illicit relation with the militant who forced her to deliver the consignment to Jammu and police is also interrogating her to know about the person to whom she had to deliver the consignment.
Sources also told that during interrogation the girl confessed that there are some more girls who was using by militants as a courier and mostly girls are doing this work to fall in love with militants. She also disclosed some names of locals of Jammu, who are also involved in militancy and giving shelter to them in city. Here is to mention that SOG arrested a law student from Tanda area with UBGL grenades when she was on way to Jammu from Surankote and during interrogation she told police that a militant direct her to took the consignment in Jammu and deliever some body and after her interrogation police arrested a top militant of HM from Surankote. Sources also added that police got much information about HM militants and police silently took their raids and more arrest are likely in late night. Sources said police got information that militants are using the girls to deliever the consignment and money to the militants who was hidden in different parts of the state and militant first made relation with the girls and after that they use them in the militancy and many girls are doing work with the militants from last many time. Sources said a police team also rushed to Srinagar for some more arrests. Meanwhile Inspector General of police Shesh Pal Vaid also addressed a press conference about the arrest of girl and disclosed that the girl was used by militants to deliver the consignment and also added that some more arrests are likely in short time. He said that police received information so police laid naka in the Tanda area of Akhnoor where police arrested the Law student with consignment.
