| Soldier injured as militants ambush search party | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu|Sep 9: An Army soldier was injured when militants fired upon a patrolling party near Line of Control in border district of Poonch late night on Saturday.
Police sources said that a group of militants ambushed a search team of 2/8 Gorkha Rifles when it was returning from normal patrolling near Nagi Post along Line of Control in Poonch sector.
The militants fired indiscriminately injuring a jawan Til Bhadur Thapa .
While the injured was immediately rushed to hospital, troops launched a man hunt to nab militants responsible for the attack..
Sources said the search for the militants who fled from the spot after the attack was on till this after noon. However, there was no report of any arrests till late Sunday evening.
