| SRTC employees continue strike | | | Early Times Reporter

The Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation employees continued their strike on the 6th consecutive day here today and also staged a protest demonstration at SRTC office at Bikram Chowk. Protestor raised anti-government slogans and demanded early release of their salaries, arrears of COLA and regularization of services of drivers and casual workers who have appointed on consolidated wages.
Protestors also blamed that Transport Minister Hakeem Mohd Yaseen for the recurring losses in the Corporation and alleged that the Minister concerned has over burned the salary bill of the crippled Corporation by making backdoor appointments in the Corporation. The protestors also demanded cancellation of all these backdoor appointments..
