Divisional level Inter district tournament in the disciplines of girls Kho-Kho and Volleyball began at Nagrota Youth Hostel ground and Gandhi Nagar Girls High school.
About 400 girls drawn from all districts of Jammu division are participating in the tournament.
The tournament is being played on knock out basis and is being organized by the department of youth services and sports as aprt of Annual calendar of activity.
In U/14 Kho-Kho matches:
Doda beat ditrict udhampur by 7/05 points.
Kishtwar beat Poonch by 8/02 points.
Rajouri beat Samba by 6/05points.
Kathua beat Jammu by 3/01 pints.
In under 17 Kho-Kho-matches:
Jammu beat Poonch by one turn and 18 points.
Udhampur beat Rajouri in sudden death.
Kishtwar thrashed Kathua by 4-03 points.
In u/19 Kho-Kho matches:
Rajouri defated Kishtwar by 8/7.
Reasi beat Poonch by 6/3.
The results of the volley ball matches were:
Udhampur beat Kathua in two straight sets by 25:11, 25:15 in U/14.
In U/14 final Samba thrashed Udhampur by 2sets to 1 set 25:22, 26:28 and 25:15.
In U/19 Rajouri beat Udhampur in two straight sets 25:13, 25:16.
Samba beat Poonch in two straight sets 25:17, 25:17.
In U/17 Kathua outclassed Udhampur in two straight sets 25:20, 25:09.
Rajouri defeated Samba in two straight sets 25:20, 25:09.
