| Several militant groups waiting to cross border | | Three local youth returned after training | | Govind Chouhan Jammu | Sep 9 Three to four groups of militant are waiting on the borders for an appropriate time to sneak into the Indian side from Jammu region. According to sources three to four groups consisting of 15-20 militants each are waiting on the border in Jammu sector to cross this side of the border for the last couple of days. The reports said that the militant groups equipped with large quantity of arms, ammunition and cash are already stationed on the other side of the border and may sneak this side any time. Sources said, of these two groups, belonging to LeT outfit are hiding near the border at Balakote sector in Poonch and Dera DC area in Pakistan while another group of 18 to 20 militants are hiding on the border at Mandi Sabzia in Poonch district and Kachar Ban area in Pakistan and one group of militants near the border at Keri Sector in Rajouri district and Kotli area in Pakistan. Sources further added that the ISI which has been providing the militants all facilities including the food is very eagerly waiting that these terrorists cross the border as early as possible to strength the militant cadres in Jammu and Kashmir. Sources further said the militants have been equipped with some sophisticated weapons including AGN. Sources said the Pakistani commanders have directed them to wait for the opportunate time for the infiltration to minimize chances of being caught . Following reports of presence of militants on the borders, a high alert is being made to thwart the infiltration bid by these militants. Sources maintained that the militant groups comprise maximum number of former militants and some locals who have recently joined the militancy and undergone training in the camps set up in PoK. These militants are reportedly trained in handling of sophisticated weapons including fiadyeen and car bomb attacks. Sources revealed that one of the group residing on Balakote border have three local youths who had gone across four years ago and have returned after getting weapons training. Sources further disclosed that if these infiltrators succeed in crossing the border, they have specific directions from their commanders to intensify the attacks especially at Srinagar. The reports suggest that the militants operating in the State are facing shortage of weapons as also the finances and the ISI is making every effort to push weapons and money to the ultras to boost their morale..
