| Health centre in Nounhal sought | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 9 Alleging that the Minister of State for PHE Ramesh Sharma was creating hurdles in setting up a health sub centre at village Nounhal in Nowshera Tehsil, sanctioned by the Minister for Health and Medical Education, the Chairman Joint Action Committee and Sarpanch Charan Singh has sought Chief Minister’s intervention so that the long pending demand of the residents of the village is conceded to. Addressing media persons here today Charan Singh alleged that the Minister , who is also the MLA of Nowshera, was deliberately ignoring the area and so much so not a single penny has been incurred on the development of the area. He also said that the PHE Minister has asked Mangat Ram Sharma not to interfere in his constituency without his permission adding that the MLA concerned has stoutly objected opening of a health sub centre in the area.. Singh also alleged that the funds sanctioned by the Chief Minister for the development of the village have not been utilized so far as the MLA concerned was averse to its development for the reasons best known to him. Singh has appealed the Chief Minister to issue instructions to the PHE Minister to desist from creating undue obstacles in establishment of a health sub-centre that was very essential as the people of the area had to travel long distances to get medicare facilities. Nand Lal, Ravi Dass Sabha, Avtar Singh and Krishan Kumar were also present at the press conference..
