| A R Kabuli joins PDP | | | Early Times Reporter
Srinagar|Sep 10: Veteran politician Abdul Rashid Kabuli announced his decision to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday, in presence of PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, PDP president Mehbooba Mufti and PDP Political Secretary Mansoor Hussain.
Mr. Kabuli described PDP as the sole political party which has envisaged the holistic development of Jammu and Kashmir. He observed that in his entire political career he has never witnessed such a speedy socio-economic development in this state.
He added that the principles on which PDP's political agenda is based on, has been endorsed by one and all at regional, national and international level. Kabuli maintained that it was PDP's political agenda which motivated him to join this party with conviction. Mr Kabuli further added that it is the PDP, which has facilitated the peace process between the two estranged partners India and Pakistan by virtue of which a permanent solution to the vexed issue of Kashmir is possible.
On this occasion, Sayeed,Mufti and Mansoor Hussain hailed Mr Kabuli's decision for joining the PDP.
He also pledged to work for the social, economic and political upliftment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir under the banner of PDP. Sayeed observed that Kabuli being an active politician of the state will work for the empowerment of people with utmost sincerity and dedication.
