Jammu, June 20: The state government today ordered placement of four (04) Inspectors (Executive) as incharge Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) under stop-gap arrangement. Among the officers placed as Incharge DySPs include Mushtaq Ahmed, Harvinder Singh, Javed Ahmed and Kuldeep Khajuria. Vide Govt Order no 338 of Home Department dtd June 20, the above mentioned inspectors have been placed as DySPs in their own pay and grade with the benefit of charge allowance as admissible under rule for a period of six months are till these posts are filled up on a regular basis on the recommendation of DPC or PSC. The order reads that the officers would not get any preferential right for promotions which shall be made strictly in accordance with the Jammu and Kashmir Police (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules, 2002. "This arrangement shall also be subject to the outcome of the writ petition(s), if any, pending consideration before any competent Court of Law", it further reads. According an official the arrangement, according to the government order was made purely in the interest of administration, on stop-gap basis. |
