| Principal kidnaps student | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 10 Bari Brahmana police today registered a kidnapping case against the Principal of a private high secondary school for kidnapping a girl student from the area yesterday.. According to reports, the family members of the 19- year old girl namely Netasha Bamotra daughter of Rakesh Kumar resident of Bari Brahamna lodged a complaint in police station Bari Brahmna that 45 year Rakesh Singh Jamwal son of Attar Singh Jamwal resident of Badodi Principal of the New Light High Secondary School kidnapped their daughter from the area when she was on way to Jammu. Police after receiving the complaint registered a case under section 366 RPC under FIR No 76/2007 and started investigation. Sources said late evening police managed to nab the driver along with private vehicle who is reported to have taken them out of state and during interrogation, the driver told police that they hired him and asked to move outside the state and even paid the charges for the trip. Sources said the girl who had been studying in the same class earlier had failed in 12th class and was presently undergoing some raining in Jammu. On hearing about the incident the local people of the area held a protest demonstrztion and demand immediate arrest of the concerned Principal. Sources said police teams have been dispatched to out of state to recover the kidnapper and the girl.
