| One arrested with bovines | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 10 Supwal police today arrested a truck driver and recovered ten bovines from his truck while the smuggler managed to escape. The bovine were being smuggled from Jammu to Punjab. According to reports, Supwal police party during routine checking at naka point on National Highway intercepted a truck bearing registration number PB06/ 2872 on way from Jammu to Punjab loaded with ten bovines being driven by driver namely Rash Paul son of Narinder Singh resident of Gurdaspur and took him to police station for further interrogation. Reports said during interrogation he told police that these bovines belonged to one Masoom Ai alias Bittoo resident of Manohar Bhupala, Samba who was riding on a motorcycle ahead of the vehicle and made his escape good. Police has registered a case in this regard and is investigating the matter.
