| Striking SRTC employees to continue indefinite strike | | | Early Times Reporter

The striking employees of the State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC), who are on an indefinite strike, decided to continue their strike, which entered eighth day today. The employees are protesting against the bias attitude of the state government towards the employees who are suffering very badly as they had not got their salary for the last four months.
The agitating employees shouted slogans against the government and alleged that the government which fails to protect the interests of its employees has not moral right to continue. The slogans raised including ‘Rozi Roti De Na Sakai Jo, Woh Sarkar Nikami Hai’. The protest rally started from the STRC Yard Vikram Chownk and passing through Jewel Chownk staged a massive dharna in front of Divisional Head office.
Today’s protest was organized under the chairmanship of Dev Raj Bali.
Addressing the protestors, Bali condemned the callous attitude of the government that has failed in her attempts to break the unity of the striking employees.
