| Doctors’ negligence leads to death of a patient daily, allege Jamwal | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 10 Alleging death of at least one patient every day due to the negligence of the doctors of GMC Hospital and its Associated Hospitals, the Panthers Party held a demonstration in protest against the Health Department here today. The demonstration was led by Vinod Singh Jamwal State Youth Secretary of the party. Addressing the party activists, Jamwal said that hardly a day is left when there is no death of at least one person in the government hospitals due to the negligence of the doctors adding that the Health Minister has totally failed even to provide first aid facilities to the patients in emergency wards in the hospitals.’ Poor people are suffering a lot due to to un- attentiveness and negligence of doctors and other medical staff’, he alleged. The Panthers leader further said that there were no facilities of ventilators, scanning machines apart the patients were being administered expired drugs and injections. He said that non availability of such facilities led to the growing deaths in the hospitals. Jamwal said that if the Minister concerned cannot handle the Ministry properly, he should resign from the Ministry. Among others who participated in the demonstration included Rajinder Kumar, Robin Singh and Rajesh Sharma.
