SPMR College of commerce organized an essay competition in connection with Gandhi Jayanti celebrations. The topic of the essay was Relevance of Gandhian philosophy of non violence and truth in the modern world.
The objective of holding such programme was to create awareness in the society and give a message to the masses that Gandhian philosophy of pacifism is not merely a utopian concept but a pragmatic philosophy that can be implemented in our day to day life. Twenty seven students of the different college participated in the event. The winners will be given prizes
The Principal Dr GL Thapa advised the participants to follow the gandhian way of life based on truth and simplicity.
