| Refresher course in law concludes | | | Early Times Reporter

Three week long refresher course in law on the topic dynamics of gender justice organized by the academic staff college in collaboration with the department of law concluded today.28 teachers from the various colleges of Jammu region participated in the course. Prof. Lalita Parihar was the course director and coordinator.
Vice chancellor Amitabh Mattoo was the chief guest on the valedictory function. Speaking on the occasion he highlighted the importance of such courses and congratulated the participants, the academic staff college and the course director on successful completion of the course. He further said that it was heartening to know that three male teachers participated in the course and hoped for more male participation in such courses focusing gender bias. Certificates were distributed among the participants on the completion of the course by the chief guest.
Director Academic staff college, Dr. P.S. Pathania in his address gave the whole credit to the vice chancellor for getting its own academic staff college. Participants also shared their course experiences.
Others who presented on the occasion included Prof. Kulwant Kour, Dr.Meenakshi Kilam, Prof. VK Anand and Dr. JS Tara. Ranjeet Kalra presented the vote of thanks.
