Hundreds of Public Health Engineering employees took to streets at border district Rajouri here to day demanding the immediate solution of their long pending problems. The employees mostly 4th class fitters and line men put the lock on the main gate of the PHE division office Rajouri locking most of the officers inside the office and didn’t let to any outsider common man to enter the office through out the day.
Giving details, sources said, hundreds of PHE employees gathered in the premises of PHE division Rajouri this morning and held a day long dharna in front of the office of the executive engineer. During this they not only raised their demands peacefully, they locked the office of the Executive Engineer from out side due to which some of the engineers remained locked in the office till 12 o clock . However, they( officers ) were allowed to come out only after the protesting employees took out a procession and marched towards office of the district development commissiuoner Rajouri to submit the demand charter.
